George L. Buries, 58, of 400 Lycoming Street, died Thursday, September 8, 2011 at The Gatehouse Hospice.
George was a Navy veteran and liked to hunt and fish.
Born September 17, 1952 in Philadelphia, he was the son of George V. and Louise Mary Zimmer Buries.
Surviving are his wife, the former Roilene L. Marvin; his father of Castanea; daughters, Janene J. (Tim) Johns, Dannielle D. Buries and Bridget Buries Petros, all of Williamsport; sisters, Patricia (Chuck) Morehart of Sandy, Utah, Donna Phipps of Nokesville, Va. and Maria Buries of Manassas, Va.; and grandchildren, Brittney, Timmy, Austin, Nathan, Caleb and Hailey.
George was predeceased by his mother, Louise and a grandson, Brendon L. Buries.
