It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Juri Villand, (Jackson, NJ) who passed away on Tuesday, September 13th, 2022 at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus in Lakewood, NJ at the age of 78. George was born in Tallinn, Estonia and lived in Jackson, NJ for 40 years following residing in St. Thomas, USVI for 10+ years. He proudly served his country in the US Army. He was a sergeant while working in security for Freehold Raceway in Freehold, NJ for 23 years prior to his retirement.
George is predeceased by his parents Astrid and Alfred Villand, his partner Anne Treumuth and nieces, Karen Berard and Liisa-Mai Karuks.
Surviving are his sisters Virginia Apfel, Krista Villand-Adams and Ingrid Karuks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephew.
