PLAINVILLE; Mr. George John Tagariello Sr, 81, of Plainville died on June 26, 2012.
George was born in New Britain, CT on February 25, 1931 the son of the late Dominic Tagariello Sr and Mary DeRosa. He attended schools in New Britain and then joined the US Navy where he served 4 years on the USS New Jersey out of Norfolk, VA. He was a loyal employee of Tilcon Tomasso for over 30 years, where he was a superintendent. He retired at a young 58 so he and his lovely wife could travel around the world, meeting a lot of wonderful friends along the way.
He was a member of Stanley Golf Course where he spent many mornings enjoying the sport of golf. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was the most amazing gardener.
He is survived by his loving wife Mary Ann Tagariello whom he married in 1950 and shared 61 wonderful years together. He is also survived by his devoted daughters and son and their spouses, George Tagariello of Enfield, Joann Quinones and Mike Goody of Oakdale, carol and Chuck Klein of Tolland, Rosemarie Albert of Plainville, Tina and Alfred Bossie of Southington and Annabel Tobey and Matt Welk of Jacksonville, VT. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren, Christopher and Kacee, Mikki and Will and their children Jenna and Jazzy, Lonny and his child Nikko, April and Lenny and their children Sydney, Alexandria and Kylie, Samantha and her daughter Katlyn, Diana and her son Jacob, Conrad and Maria and their son Mico, Michael, Ricky and Carol and their daughter AnnMarie, Eli and Lindsey and their children Dustin, Shane and Anastasia, Michelle Heinzeman-Childers and her children Sabrina, Adrian and Steven, Jessica and Jason and their son Logan, Christopher, Elizabeth and Kevin and their son Emmett, and Mary. He is also survived by his brother Dominic Tagariello Jr and his wife Anne and two sisters, Jenny Andrusio and Connie Boucher. He was predeceased by his two sisters Anna Hamilton and Antoinette Colanari and his granddaughter Jasmine Reynolds.
