George J. Wilson, 90 of the Holiday City Carefree section of Berkeley Twsp., NJ died on Tuesday April 19, 2022 at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. George was born in Jersey City, NJ, grew up in Union City, NJ. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force as a Sergeant Police Director during the Korean War.

George married the love of his life and best friend, Nancie in 1958 and they resided in Newark, NJ for 43 years before moving to Toms River, NJ in 2001.

George worked in sales as a beer distributor for L.A. Piccirillo, Inc. in Newark, NJ. He was a Past Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus in Belleville, NJ, a 4th Degree Knight of Knights of Columbus in Toms River, NJ, the Chaplin of the DAV Chapter 24 in Toms River, NJ and Vice President and Board Member of Holiday City Carefree .

George is predeceased by his parents Harry and Elizabeth Wilson and his daughter Suzanne Wilson Russell.

Surviving are his wife Nancie Wilson of Berkeley Twsp., NJ; his children Chris Wilson and his wife Dina of Brick, NJ; his daughter Lenore Lotruglio and her partner Doug Higgins of Berkeley Twsp., NJ; his son-in-law Jerry Russell and his partner Carol Burke of Bayville, NJ; his granddaughter Kimberly Kennedy and her husband Patrick of Forked River, NJ; his grandson Jim Lotruglio and his partner Kylee Trujillo of Midvale, Utah; his grandson Jeremy Lotruglio and his partner Jaimie Napoleon of Forked River, NJ; his great grandchildren Emily, Eddie and Markie Kennedy; and good friend Monsignor John Laferrera.
