George J. Terra-Nova, 76 of Lavallette, NJ died on Monday, November 23, 2015, at Bayshore Nursing Home and Rehab in Holmdel, NJ. He was born in Jersey City, NJ.
He had been living in Manchester, NJ the last three years while he rebuilt his home in Lavallette. George graduated from Colgate University in Hamilton, NY with a BS. He recently retired from his sales career in the Environmental Services Industry.
He is predeceased by his parents George and Estelle Terra-Nova.
Surviving are his sons Dave Terra-Nova and his wife Shoana of Brick, NJ and Jeff Terra-Nova and his wife Mary Ann of Del Ray Beach, FL; his sisters Estelle Terra-Nova of Dunellen, NJ, Donna Carolan of Lewes, DE, Lois Martinez and her husband Tony of North Glenn, CO and Janet Wardour of Madison, WI; his long-time girlfriend Janet Wyszinski and his three grandchildren Matthew, David, and Anna.
George was a lover of life. He was always smiling and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, friends, and family. He was an avid softball player and a father figure to many. His sense of humor and infectious smile will truly be missed.
