George J. Pagac, Jr., born on December 25, 1941, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2020, due to complications of a stroke, at the age of a young age, George chose a life and career that impacted the lives of many had a commitment to justice and serving the greater good. He honorably served his country as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army. He achieved an E-5 rank in two years and was very proud of that accomplishment. He began his career in law enforcement in Washington D.C. in a young Private, he saved many lives and one of his acts of heroism was officially added to the Congressional Record. From there he served as a Detective Sergeant with the Dearborn Police Department for over 40 years.After his retirement from the DPD, he worked for the U.S. Federal Marshals for several years.George was a devoted husband to Sharen, who predeceased him after 44 years of was a loving father to Mary, Chuck (Brittany), and David (Andrea), and his grandchildren, AnnaMarie, Julia, Nick, Amanda and Erica. He is also survived by his brother, Richard, and his family.George will be forever remembered by his family and friends as a hardworking and strong man.
