George C. Holm “Caley”, 60, of Great Falls, passed away in his home on Sunday, August 31, 2014 of natural causes.
George was born on January 22, 1954 in Lewistown to parents George L. Holm and Dora M. Jerome. Following high school, he joined the United States Air Force where he service four years as a Fuel System Mechanic. George was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Following his service, George returned to civilian life where he later graduated from Spokane Community College with a degree in Mechanics, combining all his knowledge to spend the remainder of his career as an Automotive Mechanic.
He was an outdoorsy guy, enjoying the time he spent hunting, fishing, and shooting. With his skills in mechanics, George also enjoyed working on old hot rod cars.
George is survived by his father George Holm; daughter, Brandi (Brandon) Branon of Spokane Washington; son, Shawn (Katie) Holm of Great Falls; grandchildren, Zoe and Ali Holm, Bryce Hill, Addison Branon; and his lovoed dog Griz.
He is preceded in death by his mother Dora Holm.
