Hite, George. Age 64 of Trenton and formerly of Lincoln Park. Born March 14, 1950 in Lincoln Park, MI and died March 11, 2015. Beloved son of Agnes and the late George “Woody”. Dearest brother of the late Ted and the late Lois Monczunski. Cherished uncle of Mike Monczunski, Diane (Robert) Dotson, Jeff (Dawn) Monczunski, Joyce Hite, Sharon (Rich) Fox and Jason Hite. Also survived by his great nieces, great nephews, other loving family and friends. George was a graduate of Lincoln Park High School and retired from Great Lakes Steel; his priority in life was caring for his mother. He was a very active baseball coach, umpire and mentor in both Lincoln Park and Taylor. In 1984 he was given the honor to umpire at the Little League World Series in Pennsylvania and also had been inducted to the Lincoln Park Sports Hall of Fame. In addition to all things baseball he enjoyed playing poker and was a fan of the Detroit Tigers.
