George F. Spangle, age 61 of Monon, Indiana passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 14, 2017, at I. U.. Health White Memorial Hospital in Monticello, Indiana.
George was born February 4, 1956, in Rensselaer, Indiana, the son of George E. Spangle and Zelma (Howard) Spangle. He was raised in Rensselaer, graduating from Rensselaer Central High School with the Class of 1975. George loved watching racing and spending time with his family. He was a current night watchman for Rose Acres, a position he has held for many years. George was a previously employed for over 20 years at the former Monon Trailers Manufacturing Company.
On July 11, 1975, in Rensselaer, George married Pamela “Pam” Jordan who survives. George will be missed by his loving family, wife Pam of Monon, Indiana, daughter Wendy Herrera and son Joshua Spangle, both of Monon and son William Spangle of Monticello, Indiana, five grandchildren, Keicia, Heidy, Jose’, Lyla and Peyton, and his sister, Dianna (Kenneth) Haun of Rensselaer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Mildred and Thelma and a brother, Bobby.
