Mr. George F. Alexander, age 80, of Huguley, AL passed away on Friday, January 19th, 2018 at the EAMC Lanier Hospital in Valley. He was born on October 9th, 1937 in West Point, GA to the late B. E. Alexander and Mary Belle Pilkington Alexander.
Mr. Alexander is survived by his wife, Marilynn Carpenter Alexander; his three children, Tony (Samantha) Alexander, David (Shanda) Alexander, and Amy (Steve) Phillips; his seven grandchildren, Cam Alexander, Matt (Brittany) Sanchez, Ashley Alexander, Parker Alexander, Erika Buivids, Mallory Phillips, and Luke Phillips; his three great grandchildren, Bo Buivids, Holden Coggans, and Brynlee Sanchez; his sister, Betty Harmon.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, O’Neal, Raymond, Ben, and Herbert; and two sisters, Rudine and Dinah.
Mr. Alexander enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and woodworking. He loved spending time with his family.
