On May 7, 2015 the world lost a great man, George Edward Ounjian, 76, devoted husband, beloved father, compassionate grandfather, dedicated brother, respected business man and friend to all who knew him.

A Boca Raton resident, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Noury and Lydia Ounjian, George and his dear wife, Marilyn, invested in and made a home not only for their family in the South Florida community but also for their family business, CareersUSA. Inc., a national staffing firm, where he was President.  George was also a managing member of Millennium Two, LLC, a real estate holding and development company.  He enjoyed going to work each day at his building that he built from the ground up.

George is survived by his wife, Marilyn Ounjian; son, Jonathan Ounjian; daughters, Jennifer Johnson-Bloom (son-in-law Michael) and Kori Ounjian; precious grandchildren, Victoria, Olivia and Alexandra; sister, Anne Dayian and his nieces and nephew.

George’s smile and sense of humor were his trademarks.  He spent almost every day working with his family and extended work family.  He cherished his family most.  His wife was his best friend and true love of his life.  He was proud of his three children and adored his grandchildren as they all touched his heart and brought him happiness.

As a very successful businessman, entrepreneur and philanthropist, George measured his success by the volumes of quality people with whom he worked and associated. Everything he achieved was a result of his hard work and strong ethic.  George was also a veteran in the United States Army.

George lived a fortunate life blessed with warmth, love and happiness every day.  Although he was taken from his family and friends too soon, he fought a valiant fight and was able to inspire and impact everyone who knew him.   George was a truly amazing and genuine man and sincerely great person.  He will be missed but never forgotten by all that he touched.
