On Wednesday, May 30, 2012, George went home to Glory. He was born February 20, 1935 to the late George Garth Sr. and Ella Lee Glaidon Garth in Madison County, Alabama. He confessed Christ at an early age.
He was preceded in death by his daughter; Mary Ann Garth; two brothers, Raymond Garth and William M. Garth.
He leaves to cherish his memory: five daughters, Mildred Marie Taylor, Nancy Delois Roberts, Pat Fennell, Sue Fennell and Mary Ann Ragland all of Louisville, KY; two sons, William E. Garth of Huntsville and George Garth of Louisville, KY; one loving and devoted sister, Mildred Garth Malone of Belle Mina; one aunt, Susie Rice of Huntsville; nineteen grandchildren; two special daughters, Michelle and Cathy and a host of sisters in-law, brothers in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
