George Earl Curtis, 75, of Anderson, passed away on June 6, 2020, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease at Community Hospital of Anderson.

He was born on March 13, 1945, in Anderson, the son of John Earl and Jane (Clark) Curtis. George graduated from Anderson High School in 1964 and had also received automotive training at S.T.I. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during Vietnam as a crew chief for a C-130 Hercules. George had worked as a shipping clerk for Brockway Glass for 30 years. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. George loved the Colts and the Reds and enjoyed bowling and golfing.

He is survived by his daughters, Amy (Delbert) Wright, and Jennifer Daniels; sister, Peggy Ann (Harold) Wolff; grandchildren, Chelsie (Peter) Booker, Holden Wright, Carson Wright, Thomas Turney, John Turney, Amber Daniels, and Jessica Daniels; great-granddaughters, Adrian Turney, Anna Belle Turney and Savannah Booker.

George was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Deborah Kay (Nicholas) Curtis; special canine friend, Ollie.
