George E. Kichline, 93, of Bethlehem, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Gracedale, Upper Nazareth Twp. He was the husband of the late Irene C. (Buss) Kichline, who passed away on June 8, 2008. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Aaron J. and Martha (Campbell) Kichline. George served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked in construction and carpentry for Howard Schwartz, Donald Wieand and Donald Hoffert. George and his brother-in-law helped to construct St. John’s UCC of Farmersville, where George was an active member. He was also a member of the Nancy Run Fire Company and Monocacy Field and Stream. Survivors: Surviving are his daughter, Carol M. Mark and her husband, John of Bethlehem; 3 grandchildren, John G. Mark and his wife, Lynn of Nazareth, Michelle Irwin and her husband, William of Ellenville, NY and Denise Mark of Bethlehem; a great-grandson, Tyler and many nieces and nephews. A sister, Kathryn Jones died earlier.
