George E. Carmer III, 63, of Coopersburg passed away Wednesday July 28th, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late George and Mary (Grasmeder) Carmer. He was the loving husband of Tracy (Ruth) Carmer.
George proudly served his country in the United States Army. After attending Lafayette College, he earned his bachelor’s degree at Cedar Crest College where he graduated summa cum laude. He then worked for the former Data Card, newly named Entrust, for 41 years as the lead field service technician.
He is survived by wife Tracy, children, George Carmer IV, Kimberly Carmer, Melissa Osmun, Stephanie Herr, Ashley Brunner, siblings, Kathy Bauer, Karen Brown, and Craig Carmer. grandchildren, Ava, Ellie, Lucius, Tayden, Alexis, Brynn, Chloe, Irvin, Isaac, and Alister, in-laws, Robert and Nancy Yarmush, brothers and sisters in-law, Scott Ruth, Wilson and Kristy Ruth, and Dean and Angie Ruth. He was predeceased by son, Elias Carmer.
