George Duane Rice, 89, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. He was the husband of the late Mary Grace (Runfola) Rice who passed away in 1992.
George was born in Elmira, New York on March 17, 1926 to the late Chester B. and Allene Rice. He married Mary Grace on November 25, 1948.
George enjoyed riding motorcycles, hiking, camping, watching baseball, bowling, softball and ping-pong. He was a member of the Rotary Club and American Legion.
George is survived by one daughter: Lisa Marie Peterman-Lobdell of Boise; one son: Richard B. Rice of Gilbert, Arizona; one brother: Robert Rice; three grandchildren: Kevin R.
