Demirjian, Dr. George K. Demirjian, age 88, of Middletown, died June 17, 2005 in his home. Dr. Demirjian was born in Bridgeport and resided in Middletown for most of his life. He received his optometry degree from Columbia University and had his own practice in Middletown for over fifty years. A WWII Army veteran, he was also a member of the Middletown Elks. Survivors include his brother, Albert Demirjian of Trumbull, his sisters, Catherine Onorato of Easton and Mabel Demirjian of Trumbull, and several nieces and nephews.
