George Daniel “Dan” Reeves, 77, passed away on March 13, 2022. Dan was born on November 27, 1944, to the late Homer Reeves and Jessie Knot Reeves.
Along with his parents, Dan is preceded by his siblings, Jack and Martha. Dan showed his love for the community by working with the Coweta County Fire Department as a volunteer fireman. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, antique shopping and cooking, such as homemade biscuits and his famous Brunswick Stew. Dan will be missed by all that knew him. Dan retired from Synovus Bank. He also owned an appraisal company known as Reeves & Associates.
Dan is survived by his wife of 21 years, Celina Reeves; children, Roxie Reeves Story, James “Jim” (Donna) Reeves, Amy (Gary) Heitshusen, and Cyndi Vandine; grandchildren, Jewel (Winston), Yancey, Hadleigh (Matthew), Millie, Erik, Matt, Drew, Eva, and Katie; great-grandchild, Elijah; brother, Jerry.
