George Daniel Guard Jr., age 88, of Bethany, beloved husband of the late Marie Gentile Guard, died on Monday, April 27, 2020. George was born in Dickson City, PA on June 10, 1931 to the late George Daniel Guard Sr. and Adeline James Guard.
George was a uniquely kind and loving man. He worshipped his family and adored his friends. He never met a person he didn’t like.
Survivors include his children: Dawn Sardi (Stephen) of Bethany and Deborah Green (Richard) of NC; his grandchildren: Dr. Lauren Sardi (Todd Ames), Matthew Sardi, and Dr. Justin Sardi, all of Bethany; and Kyleigh, Jarrett, and Richard Green, all of NC; his great-grandchildren: Logan and Sydney Ames of Bethany; his brother Allen Guard of SC, his cousin Shirley Passaro of Trumbull, his niece Constance Richards of PA, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. George is predeceased by his brothers: John, William, Arthur, Donald, and Harold Walters and Kenneth Guard.
