George (Bob) Robert Emmett, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away September 5, 2014. He was born April 11, 1932, in Indianapolis to the late Harold L. and Mary (Harrell) Emmett. On June 8, 1956, George married Shirley Corine in Indianapolis. George was a pressman at Indianapolis Newspapers, Inc., where he was employed for 40 years,retiring in 1994.
George is survived by spouse Shirley (Corine) Emmett; son David (Bobbi) Emmett, Camp Verde, AZ; daughters Ruth Emmett, Indianapolis and Teresa (Dennis) Bloodworth, Mt. Vernon, IN; grandchildren, Ben (Michelle) Bloodworth, Sara (Travis) Willett, and Rebecca Bloodworth; and great-grandchildren Shelton and Lukas Bloodworth and Avonlea and Thane Willett. He was preceded in death by parents, brother William Harold Emmett and granddaughter Abigail Bloodworth.
