George Benavidez, 59, of Boise, Idaho joined our heavenly Father on January 28, 2014.
He was born in Uvalde, Texas on June 15, 1954 to Benito and Feliz Benavidez. He graduated from the American Institute of Health Technology in 2000 with a 3.95 GPA. He was married to the love of his life, JoAnn Benavidez in September 1973.
He lived in Boise with his family in the home he loved, had a huge heart and caring soul. It was very important to him that a sense of comfort was present in his home. He was a natural leader and a great teacher.
George is survived by his wife, JoAnn Benavidez; three children, Benito “Ben,” Enrique “Rick,” and Christina Benavidez and adopted Brent Rosiere; as well as five grandchildren, Jaelynn, Elijah, Gabriel, Sydney and Alyssa Benavidez; Rudy and Lisa Hill, Art Benavidez, Abby Nevarez, Oscar and Sylvia Benavidez, as well as the rest of the Benavidez and Villanueva families.
