George Anthony Molnar Sr., 77, of Orange, CT, died January 6th, 2010 in his home after a long illness, surrounded by his loving family. George is the son of the late Anthony and Anne Thomas Molnar. George is survived by his wife, Dorothy Rossin Molnar; son, George Molnar and his wife, Kris, of Seattle; and daughter, Marcy Mangels and her husband, Paul, of Milford. He took great delight in his grandchildren: Tamara, Justin, Jeffrey and Nicole. After graduation from Milford High School in 1950, he served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1955. He received his degree in Engineering from Bridgeport Engineering Institute and was subsequently employed by Sikorsky Aircraft as a mechanical engineer. His specialization was Acoustics and Dynamics, and later in his career, Advance Research and Development. George collaborated on and was awarded five patents.
