George Anthony Donohue Sr., 90, of Elvaton Acres in Millersville, passed away at his home on November 11, 2021. He was born in Baltimore to the late John and Zimmery Donohue. He graduated from Mount St. Joseph High School. George worked for Baltimore City Police Department for 23 years and went on to work for A & C Beverages, cleaning beer lines. He was a member of the Severna Park Elks #2482 and the Glen Burnie Moose #1456. He enjoyed the company of the waitresses at Double T Diner, especially Christine, and his two favorite bartenders at Anchor Inn, Kathleen and Carol. He also enjoyed home improvements and construction work, gardening, watching western movies, collecting Indian memorabilia reading and eating steamed crabs and oysters. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 26 years, June; son, George Anthony Donohue Jr.; daughter-in-law, Thelma; brothers, Thomas and John “Jack” Donohue; niece, Mary Ann Carr; and nephew, Patrick J. Donohue.

     George is survived by his loving children, Francis Donohue, John Donohue, Thomas Donohue and Charlene Donohue (Jim Maticic); cherished grandchildren, Robert Daly, Noel Donohue and John Stephen Donohue; beloved great-grandchildren, Rachel and Andrew Randall; dear niece and nephew, Regina “Jean” Donohue and Michael Donohue; and caring great-nephew, Joe Griffin. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews from Hebler’s family, Janice, Vera, Bill and Joseph.
