George “Al” Wines sadly passed away on May 1st, 2016 in Emmett, Idaho. He will be greatly missed by his friends and Family. He was born April 26th, 1937 in Watson, Illinois to Albert and Bonnie Wines. He was 79. After growing up in and around Effingham, Illinois Al joined the United States Air Force and served in Alaska and at Mountain Home Air force base. He met and married Dianna M. St. Germain in 1965. They made their home in Emmett raising their 3 children. Al worked at the Boise Cascade mill. He enjoyed bowling and was partners in Lucky Lanes Bowling Alley with Tony Skoro. Al then worked at the Unimin sand plant for over 25 years until he retired. Al was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dianna and his sister, Marie.
