George A. Rael, 69, of Pueblo passed away on March 25, 2020. His life will forever be cherished by his daughters, Marie Rael and Carriann (Michael) Martinez; grandchildren, Anissa, Jaylee and Jenna Manzanares, Jace, Donovan and Rylan Martinez; his mother Connie Rael; siblings, Bob Rael (Gloria), Charlene (Paul) Gauna, Bill (Gloria) Rael, Elizabeth Rael, Tom Rael, Bernadette (Steve) Guerrero, Ernestine (Sam) Martinez, and Lynn Hoppes; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. His father, Ernest Rael and brother David Rael join him in Heaven. He was liked by all, never had an unkind word and was known for assigning a fun nickname to nearly everyone he knew.  George was a devoted family man who loved playing the guitar and singing for his family and friends.  After being a first-generation college graduate, George was well known in the Pueblo community, starting his career in various public relations fields as well as a news reporter for Channel 5 and Channel 11. George also dedicated his time to working with youth and ex-offenders, serving in corrections at San Quentin and the Youth Offender System and finally ended up where his educational career began at Pueblo Community College, this time not as a student, but rather a Career Coach for a college-bound program for ex-offenders.  He will be forever loved and deeply missed by those he leaves behind.
