George A. Cushman, 80, of Wareham passed away at home on January 4, 2019. He was the father of Lisa Quinlan and her husband Arthur of Forestdale and Geoffrey Cushman of Plymouth. He was the grandfather of, Leah Ouellette and her husband Gary, Alicia Bluestein, Aileen Quinlan, and Timothy Quinlan of Plymouth, Nathan Bluestein and Shayla Quinlan of Sandwich. George leaves four great-grandchildren. He was the brother of John Cushman III and Arlene Cohee of Lynnfield and the late Richard Cushman. He leaves his former wife Ellie Cushman. George was born on April 14, 1938 in Winthrop to John and Sara (Turpeinin) Cushman, Jr. He was a professor at Wentworth Institute of Technology where he retired after forty years. He enjoyed fishing, running and attending minor league baseball games. George was a frequent blood donor for the Jimmy Fund.
