Brimfield-Georg Klein, 85 , passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021. Georg was born in Neurnberg, Germany where he was raised by his parents Michael and Kunigunde (Negal) Klein. He was educated in Germany before moving to the United States and became a United States Citizen in 1957. George served in the Us Army and was honorably discharged in 1963. George lived in New York for many years before moving to Brimfield. He was the director of Manufacturing at Rathbone Precision Metals, Inc in Palmer and retired in 2005.
George leaves his wife, Catherine E. (Woffenden) Klein. His daughters, Monica Schuchardt and Patricia Deckert , both of Long Island, New York; a niece, Sheila Owens of Idaho; stepchildren, Andrew Duda III of Waltham, Jennifer Boone of Sturbridge, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and family in Germany.
