Mr. Gent Lee Godfrey, Jr., of Riverview, FL passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020.
Mr. Gent Lee Godfrey, Jr., was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. He was educated by the public schools of Hillsborough County and furthered his education with some college courses. Mr. Godfrey enlisted into the United States Army and served until his Honorable discharge.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Gent Lee Godfrey, Sr.; grandmother, Jakie B. Mention; sisters, Cynthia Joyce Altine and Shelia Godfrey and son, Gent Lee Godfrey, III.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving children, three daughters, Latoya Foster and husband, Clifton, Tiffany L. Godfrey and Takeyah Braxton and husband, Tyrell; grandchildren, Tyrone C. Tarrance, Tristan L. Tarrance, Tyshawn Barnes, Camden L. Foster, Tahj Braxton, Amaya Braxton, Zyire Braxton, and Loyal Lou’Rosa Foster; his loving mother, Rosa Lee Hermitt; sister, Charlotte Waters; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
