Genoveva Sandoval Flores, 77
Genoveva Sandoval Flores, 77, passed away in her home after a short illness on August 10, 2010. She was born March 21, 1933 in La Pasada, NM.
In 1954 she married Alberto T. Flores in Pecos, NM then moved to Alamogordo, NM where she spent life building her family and a wealth of friends.
She was preceded by her parents, Telesfor and Rosalia Sandoval, husband Alberto and son Telesfor.
Genoveva is survived by sons, Isfrain Flores, Alberto Flores and Tiffany and Antonio Sandoval; daughters, Marcella M. Gage and Richard, Rebecca M. Gage and Charles, Rosalia A. Dubash, Claudina C. Smith and Steve, Bernadette V. Flores and Nea Marie Sandoval; 15 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren with one on the way.
Genoveva also left behind those she loved as dearly as her own children which include Margaret Cordova, Stormy Hernandez, Larry November and Mark Dubash.
Genoveva attended NMSVH (NMSBVI) where she was a cheerleader and an athlete worthy of Hall of Fame Honors.
She prayed the Rosary faithfully for everyone she loved and she loved everyone. She loved sitting on the swing under her tree with her dog Thraz. Genoveva’s heart was vast and her home was open to everyone.
The Rosary will be recited at 9:30am Monday August 16, 2010 at Our Lady of the Light Catholic Church in La Luz by Deacon Don Dickman.
