Genevieve is survived by her husband, Dale Van Patten; daughter, Patricia (Paul) Koestner; siblings, Jose Salazar, Maria Smith, Lucy (Ben) Roybal; sisters-in-law, Joyce Lawes and Carol Van Patten; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Riley. Genevieve was also preceded in death by a brother, Moises Salazar.
