Genevieve Margaret Mercer, 89, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007. A long-time resident of Destin, she is the wife of the late Col. Frank Mercer, who passed away in 1997.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: Pete and Chotsy Mercer, of Destin; Daniel and Cathy Mercer of Phoenix, Ariz.; and Michael and Pat Mercer of Atlanta, Ga.; two daughters and sons-in-law: Carol and Walt Frisbie of Ann Arbor, Mich.; and Sue and Pat Drewett of West Monroe, La.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
