SALEM – Genevieve L. Yeager, age 82, died May 1, 2018 at her home. She was born July 12, 1935 in Leetonia, Ohio, the daughter of the late George and Elsie (Wintersheimer) Bell.

Genevieve was last employed at the Century House, was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Church and a past member of the Catholic Daughters of America.

Her husband, Raymond A. Yeager Sr., whom she married September 29, 1956, preceded her in death October 11, 1986.

Survivors include three sons, Douglas (Pam) Yeager of Salem, Earl (Donna) Yeager of Leetonia and Jeff (Annette) Yeager of Garrettsville; four daughters, Linda (Chet) Vickers of Salem, Bev Yeager Shoemaker of Elyria, Ann (Tony) Rodriquez of Ravenna, and Patty (Jeremy) Smith of New Castle, PA; a daughter-in-law, Concetta Yeager; a sister, Minnie Brown of Lisbon; a brother, Joe Bell of Lake Milton; 22 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

A son, Raymond (Butch) Yeager Jr.; six brothers, Jimmy Bell, George Bell, Tommy Bell, Dick Bell, Charlie Bell and Eddie Bell; and three sisters, Mary Rodacy, Pauline Thrash, and Carol Ayers Redd also preceded her in death.

Her favorite charity was Our Lady’s Purse, St. Paul Church, 935 E. State St., Salem, OH 44460.
