Genevieve “Jenny” Buragino, 101, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 28, 2022 while in the care of New Eastwood Nursing Home, Easton surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Vincent “Jimmy” Buragino. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hermina (Koenig) Shunk. Jenny worked for her husbands Shoemaker business for most of her life until retiring. She was a member of the former Our Lady of Pompeii Most Holy Rosary and a current member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Bethlehem. She was also a faithful member of the Mother of Sorrows.
Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Georgine Corroda of Bethlehem, Mary Cochrun and her husband Larry of Novato, CA and Teresa Ganse of Hummelstown; grandchildren Beth (Jeff) Bloom, Amy (Gary) Moll, Tony (Sarah) Corroda, Ann, Paul (Erin) Cochrun, Ethan (Elya) Ganse and Abigail and great grandchildren Sabrina, Isabelle, Alice, Shae, Judah and Avonlea. She was preceded in death by her siblings Helen, Elsie, Hermina, William, Marie and Joseph.
