Genevieve “Jean” Smith, 80, of Brighton passed away on May 18, 2014.
Jean was born to Roy and Iris Wells in January of 1934, in Brighton, Colorado. The second of three children, she attended schools in Brighton and graduated from Brighton High School in 1953.
Jean worked for Kityama’s in the 60’s and early 70’s as well as doing campaign work at Kuner’s. Later Jean worked for Brighton Care as a CNA, retiring in the mid 90’s. In her retirement, Jean enjoyed being a home body.
Jean is survived by her children Ronette and Jeffrey as well as a grandchild; Daniel Kiefer. She was predeceased by both parents, two sisters and her daughter; Jody.
