Genevieve Isabelle Beilby, age 98, went home to be with her Lord on November 11, 2017. Genevieve was born on April 26, 1919, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Benjamin and Golden (Hatfield) Scovel.
On February 11, 1939, she was united in marriage to Harold L. Beilby. Genevieve was a charter member of the Gull Lake United Methodist Church. She loved crocheting, and sewing and was known to have a green thumb with all her plants.
Genevieve was preceded in death by her husband Harold in 1987; also preceded by her son Louis Beilby, daughter Beverly Myers, 3 grandchildren Katheryn, Jonathan, and Andrew, and 2 siblings Ed and Dorothy.
Surviving are 6 children John Beilby, Shirley Franklin, Harold Beilby, Jr., Edwin Beilby, Susan Beilby, and Robert Beilby; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
