Genevieve Ann Pearman Didier, 85, Anderson, died August 10, 2008 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after an extended illness. She was born February 18, 1923 in Joplin, Missouri, and resided in Anderson.
She was a homemaker and worked at Delco Remy for ten years, Guide Lamp for two years and RCA for seven years. She was a member of the Master Gamma Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi for more than 60 years, Eagles F.O.E. #174, American Legion #408 in Chesterfield where she was the president in 1995 and the VFW Post #266 where she was an officer for more than 10 years and marched in parades with the Color Guard. She was also a Girl Scout Leader for many years. She was an avid bowler at Eastside Lanes, a #1 Cubs, Pacers and Colts fan.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Gena Mountain of Anderson and son, Duane Didier of Anderson; sisters, Virginia Jones of Lake City, Florida and Joeann Morris of Coconut Creek, Florida; five grandchildren, Duane Mountain, Amy Matt Nasworthy, LeiAnne Mark Lloyd, Nikole Mike Gross and Justin Miller; eleven great grandchildren, Aubrey, Cora, Austin, Lonni, Lillie, Luke, Matthew, Elisha, Drew, Savannah Genevieve and Jayden and several nieces and nephews.
Also surviving are special friends, Aaron & Robyn Garcia, Mary Phillips and Phyllis Barrett. She was preceded in death by her husband whom she married July 19, 1949, Claude Thomas Didier who passed away September 6, 1997; her parents, Joseph & Frances E. Kelley Pearman and brothers-in-law, Paul Jones and Rex Morris.
