She was a beauty operator. She worked many years for Orpha Bray’s Shop, then owned and operated her own beauty shop in Anderson. She was a member of South Anderson United Methodist Church in Anderson. She loved her schnauzer, Syd.
She is survived by her One Daughter: Roxanna & husband Joe Tipton in Anderson. One Son: Lester & wife Shirley Cox of Marion. Seven Grandchildren: JoDean Tipton of Taos, New Mexico; Scott Tipton of Goshen; Krista & husband Craig Schauss of Hilton Head, South Carolina; Chuck & wife Trisha Cox of Van Buren; Toney Cox of Marion; James Brown of Marion and Allen Brown and Marion. Nine Great Grandchildren. Brother-in-law: Robert Beard. Several Nieces & Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Husband: Wesley D. Cox in November of 1990. Parents: Lester & Clora Clark Stinson. Sister: Rosemary Beard. Two Brothers: Dr. C.B. Stinson and Harold Stinson.
