Geneva was a devout Christian, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Monroe (Jimmy) Woods Sr.; her parents, John Calhoun Stafford and Ida Moore Stafford; stepson, James Monroe Woods Jr.. and Patricia Lee; two great grandchildren, Bobby Asher, Jr. and David Asher, Jr. Survivors include her two daughters, Gloria Asher, Connie Burns and husband Willie; son, Alvah Toney; four grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
