Geneva Noble McClendon, 72, Anderson, died May 3, 2012 at Alexandria Care Center-Alexandria after an extended illness.
She was born May 23, 1939 in Booneville, KY, and lived most of her life in this area. Geneva was a homemaker and had worked in the Guide Lamp Canteen for sixteen years.
Survivors include her husband, Hollis McClendon; daughter, Ruth Smith of Anderson; brother, Earl Nancy Noble of Florida; three sisters, Bessie Bill Brumfield of Daleville, Elsie Hamshell of Austin, IN & Mary Rose Little of Booneville, KY; one grandson, Benjamin D. Smith of Anderson; two step grandchildren, Brady Lindsey Fisher of Germany & Taylor Bragg of Chesterfield; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard & Nancy Estes Noble; two sisters and four brothers.
