Born Feb. 13, 1926, in Hilltop, Ky., she was the daughter of Samuel T. and Laura Black New. She was married May 30, 1942, in Revelo, Ky., to Glenn M. Kidd, who preceded in death Feb. 22, 1972.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Glenn Kidd Jr. and Dorothy, Logansport; brothers and sister-in-law, Lester New, West Harrison, and Cecil and Norma New, Louisville; grandchildren, Susan L. Taylor and her husband, John, Tucson, Ariz., and Michael A. Kidd and his wife, Jacqueline, Doveridge, England; and great-grandchildren, Natasha Ross and her husband, Dylan, Laura Kidd and Shaun Kidd.
Four brothers, Wilburn New, Homer New, Roy New and Carl New, and three sisters, Elsie Keith, Addie Worley and Ethel Coffey, preceded in death.
