Little Miss Genesis Uriah Carter was born in Birmingham, Alabama on December 19, 2012, to Akeli Carter and Darius Tyler. She departed this life on February 24, 2013 at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Genesis was a fighter from the beginning and her mother stood by her side until the end. God saw fit to call Genesis to her heavenly home. In our hearts she holds a special place.
Genesis leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Akeli Carter; her father, Darius Tyler; grandparents, Kristie Carter (Anthony) and Jarvis Scott (Atia); great grandparents, Marinda Carter and Forrest Carter (Marilyn) Bobbi Harper Jackson (Edward), and Alvin McDaniel; one aunt, Kabreyah Scott; four uncles, Joshu Pearson, Jacob Jones, Jamaris and Jarvis Scott Jr; and a host of aunts, ucles, cousins and friends.
