Gene Paul Robinson, 97, of Arvada, Colorado, passed away September 14, 2017 after living a long, full life. He was born February 1, 1920 in Danville, Illinois to Ben Carl and Zora Songer Robinson. Gene loved to fly. During WWII, he was a flight instructor in the Army Air Corp and for the rest of his life, it was one of those things that truly energized him. Besides his passion for flying, Gene had an incredible love of music. He grew up in a home where his mother played the organ and his father sang in the choir, so Gene learned to sing and has been singing for most of his life.
