Genaro Saucedo-Barraza, 68, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Rio Rancho on Monday, May 9, 2022.
Mr. Saucedo-Barraza was preceded in death by his parents Genaro and Theresa Saucedo, sisters: Theresa, Leticia, grandchildren: David Trujillo and Veronica Trujillo.
Genaro is survived by his life-partner Maria Lucita Villanueva; children: Magdalena Gonzales (Alex), Sophie Jaramilo (Jack Jr.), Audrey Saucedo, Leah Saucedo, Genaro Saucedo, Jr., Daniel Saucedo; sisters: Rosa, Sabina, Henrita, Chita, Leocadia; brothers: Arturo, Roberto, Blas, Joaquin, Jose Maria, 17 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and his best friend Acassio.
Genaro was born in Chihuahua, Mexico and moved his family to Albuquerque in the late 70’s to provide a better life for his wife and children. He worked very hard for many years at his trade as a master concrete form setter and finisher. He was highly skilled when it came to anything related to cement/concrete.
Genaro was a man who loved his family dearly. He would always share words of advice and wisdom. One of his favorite quotes was, “Como dice ell dicho”, along with, “Una momento, OKAY!”
