On Wednesday, January 10th, 2018 Gayle Mae Brewer went home to be with the Lord at Galeon Home in Osakis, Minnesota after a short illness.

Gayle Mae Brewer was born to Clyde and Hattie (Johnson) Wildman on May 11, 1933 at the Long Prairie, MN hospital. Her elementary education took place at the Greenwood County Schoolhouse. She graduated from Long Prairie High School in 1951. Right out of high school she was a teller at the local bank.

She met Clifford Brewer at the Baptist Church in Long Prairie and they were married on October 22, 1953. Together they raised three daughters. Clifford’s employment caused them to move several times in the Little Falls, Brainerd and Long Prairie area. Then they settled in the St. Cloud area for several years. Gayle worked as a bookkeeper at several places over the years. She also worked at the St. Cloud Beauty college, Dr. Thomas Hobday’s Ophthalmology Office and Greg Campbell’s Physical Therapy Office.  She was an appointment secretary for Centra Care Clinic River Campus and Heartland Clinic. She was also the site coordinator for the Senior Dining/Meals on Wheels in Sauk Centre, MN after they moved there in 2002.

Gayle is preceded in death by her husband; Clifford, sisters; Mary Margaret Alexander (Dave) and Faith Dark (Harold).

She is survived by her three daughters; Becky Brewer, Beth Bruemmer (Michael) and Brenda Spicer (Tim), brother; William Joyce Wildman, five grandchildren; Nichole Ostermann (Troy), Ben Bruemmer, Jennifer Harned (Jeff), Leah Bruemmer and Sarah Ostrander (Caleb) and her special friend; Carl Holmquist.
