Gayle K. Jordan passed away on December 13, 2021 in Kalamazoo, Michigan surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 9, 1945 in Dowagiac, MI to Iva & Walter Slater. She married Jack (Jesse B) Jordan on September 20, 1991 and they spent 26 wonderful years together before he preceded her in death.

Gayle lived a life of joy and friendship. She truly enjoyed traveling the country in the RV with her loving husband Jack, dear friends, and family. Visiting around the campfire and making lasting memories were the highlights of these adventures. Her love for Hershey chocolate bars always made us smile and she loved playing countless hands of Phase 10 with family and friends. She had a deep affection for animals, especially her beloved dogs, Daisy and Siera. She took great pleasure in feeding her birds and even Harry the squirrel. She loved watching the deer and turkey families visit her yard every night. Watching beautiful evening sunsets and the sunshine of a warm summer day brought her great joy.

Her friends were very important to her and she enjoyed each and every one of them. She loved spending hours on the phone talking to her closest friends. McDonald’s Iced tea, McChicken, and Wendy’s Frosty were a few of her favorites. She had so many special things about her including a love for Sloths which she developed in the last couple years. Most of all, Gayle loved her family. Her sons were her pride and joy while her grandchildren and great grandchildren were added blessings. She loved them all deeply and was so proud of all of them and their accomplishments. She was an inspiration to many generations. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and will be missed so very much by all!

Gayle is survived by her sons Scott (Kim) Buell and Steve (Lynne) Buell; grandchildren Lacey (Bradly), Bethani (Josh), Rebekha (Dylan), Scott (Tierney), Carly and Benjamin; great-grandchildren Adalynn, Caden, Nadia, Rosaleta, Aurora, Jaycob, Colton, Oakli, and Bastion; nephews Bob, Tim and Larry; niece Gerri, and her cousin, Judy.
