Gayland Edward “Slick” Adams, 77, of rural Jacksonville, IL, and formerly of Redlands, CA, and Golden Eagle, IL, died Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at his home.
He was born April 8, 1943, in Corning, AR, the son of Burl and Amy Dixon Adams. He married Donna Rickard on November 2, 1964, in Washington Park, and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Donald Adams and Jerry Adams.
