Gay Langston Williams was born November 7, 1937 to Archie Langston and Ruby Benton Langston on the Hunter Cemetery Farm in Salem.  She departed this life on Thursday, October 29, 2020 in Salem.

Gay married Glen M. Williams on June 16, 1955 in Mammoth Spring and to this union three children were born.

She was a hardworking Southern lady with a kind heart and a loving disposition, instilling her work ethic to her children by example.

Gay was a lifelong member of the Heart General Baptist Church.

She was a homemaker, cook, housekeeper, loving wife, and a wonderful forgiving mother. During her roll as wife, she also served as a helpmate to her husband, Glen (Buck) Williams, who was a pastor in many rural churches in Arkansas and Southern Missouri.  She participated in many club activities with the Heart EHC ladies and loved her Mondays quilting among friends.

She leaves to mourn her passing, Harrel Estes, her loving companion for the last fourteen years; three children, Cheryl (Dr. Ron) Yow, of Horseshoe Bend, Ruth Ann (Mike) Spurlock, of Heart, and Timothy Glen (Virginia) Williams of Heart; six grandchildren, April Casey, Stacy Vance, Becky Martin, Jessica Prescott, Jenah Criss, and Austin Williams; sixteen great grandchildren, Rhiannon, Jordan, Jackson, Jenae, Chase, Matthew, Brody, Halli, Layton, Ella, Cannon, Ryker, Charlie, Abigail, Anna, and Ada James; one great -great grandson Kipton; a special niece, Angie Ferguson; Aunt Earlene Ziegler and Aunt Faye Giles; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, her brother, Boyce Langston, sister, Lois Roberts, and many wonderful friends.
