Gatlin Shawn Clark (Our Hero) passed away Saturday evening at his home in Tularosa surrounded by family and friends. He has gone to Heaven to be with the Lord after a long hard fought battle with cancer. Gatlin was born on April 8th, 1996.
Gatlin is survived by his father Shawn Paul Clark of Gilbert, Arizona; his mother Judy Clark of Tularosa; brother Dusty Zolman of Tularosa; two sisters, Saisha Clark and Shanae Clark both of Tularosa and his grandparents, Bill and Sandi Clark of Silver City and Bill and Dean Stroud of Deming. He also has two nephews, Sterling Zolman and Wyatt Zolman of Tularosa; one aunt, Kristy Clark of Silver City; two uncles, Philip Stroud of Kona, Hawaii and James Stroud of Enid, Oklahoma and his cousins, Nathan Engelbrecht of Phoenix, Arizona, Jeffery Engelbrecht of Las Cruces, Carey White of Silver City, Caleb Stroud from Kona Hawaii and Joshua Stroud from Adrienne Michigan.
Gatlin was 14 and had been fighting cancer for two and a half years.
