Gasper S. Sciacca Jr. “Skip”, passed away on August 24th 2017.
He had been a resident of NHC in Fort Oglethorpe Georgia for the past three plus years. He would smile when asked how he liked living in Georgia and vowed to never leave.
The staff at NHC treated Skip with the utmost respect, humor, and kindness. Thank you Christiane, Lacey, Rachel, Brittany, Jonah, Tiffany, Jana (Cricket), and all who saw him on a daily basis.
He was frequently asked to call out the number forty four when playing bingo, as his Boston accent was considered unique.
He was a member of St Gerard Majella and was particularly close to Father Bill and his good friend Rusty.
He was the son of the late Gaspare and Barbara Sciacca. He was a brother and a brother in law. He was an uncle and a great uncle as well as a cousin to many.
