Gary F. Wood, age 72 of Birmingham, AL passed away on January 28, 2016. He was a member of Roebuck Christian Church. He was a proud member of The Top Hatters from Woodlawn High School, truly a band of brothers loved by Gary and he was also a member of the Alabama Rangers. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers. He was a member of The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. He was survived by his wife Dianne “Dee” Wood; son, Chad Wood (Kim); daughter, Sunny Workman (Owen); grandchildren, Chase and Tanner Wood and Mia, Garrett, and Wren Palmer; nieces, Debbie Young and Ginger Abernathy; great nephew, Scott Young.
